Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Analyst to support our sales team by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data. The Sales Analyst will help identify trends, forecast performance, and provide actionable insights to optimize strategies and improve overall sales performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to provide insights that support sales strategy and decision-making.
  • Create regular sales reports and dashboards for senior management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to align goals and share insights.
  • Assist in sales forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain and improve data accuracy within CRM and reporting systems.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and product performance reviews.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand market positioning.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales analyst or data analyst role (typically 2+ years).
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Requirements
  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Experience:
    2+ years of experience in a sales analyst, data analyst, or similar analytical role.

  • Analytical Skills:
    Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc.).
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
    • Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages is a plus.
  • CRM & Reporting Tools:
    Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and reporting platforms.

  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving:
    Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address business challenges.

  • Business Acumen:
    Understanding of sales processes, KPIs, and market dynamics.

  • Teamwork & Collaboration:
    Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance teams.

  • Attention to Detail:
    High level of accuracy and focus when dealing with numbers and data reports.
