Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to help drive company growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing prospects, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
    Identify and research potential clients through networking, cold calling, online platforms, and industry events
    Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline

  • Client Engagement
    Reach out to prospects, conduct presentations, and build strong relationships with decision-makers
    Understand client needs and propose customized solutions that align with business objectives

  • Sales & Revenue Growth
    Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
    Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and negotiate contracts

  • Market Research & Strategy
    Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments
    Provide insights and contribute to the development of strategic sales plans

  • Collaboration
    Work closely with marketing, product, and account management teams to align business development efforts
    Ensure a seamless transition of new clients to the delivery and operations teams

  • Reporting & CRM Management
    Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
    Prepare regular reports on business development progress and forecasts


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition
  • Strong understanding of B2B or B2C sales strategies (depending on the company)

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation and proposal-writing abilities
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, etc.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, or a related field
  • A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage but not mandatory

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, lead generation, or client acquisition
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and grow business revenue
  • Experience in B2B or B2C environments, depending on the company focus

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with digital sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation platforms, etc.
  • Comfortable with preparing proposals, pitch decks, and client reports
