Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Reconcile accounts and manage outstanding receivables and payables

Financial Reporting
Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss reports, and cash flow statements
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

Auditing & Compliance
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation

Banking & Reconciliations
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Monitor and report on company cash flow and account balances

Tax & Regulatory Filings
Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring timely filings
Stay up to date with changes in accounting and tax laws
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (depending on seniority level)
- CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required)
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP or other relevant accounting standards
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to analyze financial data and create clear reports

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification (preferred or required, depending on the role)
Experience:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles
- Experience with general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Previous experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is a plus
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting tools is a bonus
