Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Analyst to evaluate sales data, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making across the sales department. The ideal candidate will track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends and opportunities, and collaborate with sales leadership to optimize performance and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:

Sales Performance Analysis
Analyze sales trends, patterns, and forecasts to support revenue growth strategies
Evaluate team and individual sales performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations

Reporting & Dashboards
Develop and maintain regular sales reports and dashboards for stakeholders
Present data findings clearly to management, sales teams, and cross-functional partners

Market & Customer Insights
Analyze customer behavior, segmentation, and buying patterns
Research market trends and competitor performance to inform strategic planning

Data Management
Maintain accuracy and integrity of sales data in CRM and analytics systems
Collaborate with IT and operations to enhance data processes and reporting tools

Forecasting & Budget Support
Assist in preparing sales forecasts, budgets, and pipeline reports
Support demand planning and target setting based on historical and predictive data

Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and provide data-backed suggestions for optimization
Assist in sales strategy development and execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in sales analysis, business analytics, or a similar data-driven role
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel
- Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho
- Working knowledge of SQL or other data query languages is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret large datasets
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly and concisely

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field
- A Master’s degree or certification in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar fields is a plus
Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in a sales analysis, business analytics, or financial analysis role
- Proven experience working with large datasets and deriving actionable insights
- Familiarity with sales cycles, KPIs, and revenue reporting in a B2B or B2C environment
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, data visualization)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
- Proficiency in CRM platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python (Pandas), or other data querying/reporting languages is a plus
- Understanding of data modeling, forecasting techniques, and budgeting tools
Analytical & Strategic Skills:
- Strong quantitative analysis and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to identify trends, spot anomalies, and interpret complex datasets
- Competence in preparing and presenting detailed reports for different stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and the ability to support decision-making with data

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
