Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive revenue growth, and develop long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, managing a team of sales representatives, and ensuring targets are met or exceeded. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to build a high-performing sales culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development
    Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives
    Set clear performance goals and provide ongoing coaching and feedback

  • Sales Strategy & Execution
    Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives
    Identify new market opportunities and drive initiatives to expand market share

  • Performance Management
    Monitor and evaluate individual and team sales performance
    Track KPIs and provide regular performance reports to senior management

  • Client Relationship Management
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
    Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

  • Forecasting & Reporting
    Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets
    Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement

  • Collaboration
    Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to align efforts and support sales objectives
    Provide feedback to internal teams based on market and customer insights


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer lifecycle, and CRM systems
  • Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • A Master’s degree (MBA) or relevant certifications (e.g., in Sales Management, Leadership, CRM) is a plus

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial sales role
  • Experience managing sales teams in a B2B, B2C, or industry-specific environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics tracking tools
