Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Key Account Executive to manage and grow relationships with our most important clients. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for building long-term business relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management
    Serve as the main liaison between the company and key clients
    Maintain regular communication to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded

  • Relationship Building
    Develop strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
    Understand client business goals and align company solutions to support them

  • Sales Growth & Retention
    Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase account value
    Develop customized account plans and drive revenue growth from existing accounts

  • Coordination & Problem Resolution
    Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., marketing, customer support, operations) to deliver seamless client experiences
    Handle client issues or complaints with professionalism and urgency

  • Performance Tracking & Reporting
    Monitor account performance, track KPIs, and prepare reports for internal and client-facing use
    Provide insights and feedback to improve service quality and client satisfaction

  • Market & Industry Awareness
    Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and client industries
    Use insights to recommend strategic initiatives that add value to client relationships


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in account management, business development, or client relationship management, preferably in a B2B environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized, proactive, and goal-oriented

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • A Master’s degree (MBA) or relevant certifications in sales/account management is a plus

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in key account management, client relations, sales, or business development
  • Experience working with high-value clients or in B2B sales environments
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and account growth goals

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with sales analytics tools and reporting dashboards
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals
