Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative, analytical, and forward-thinking Brand Strategist to lead the development and execution of branding strategies that enhance our company’s image, drive customer engagement, and support long-term growth. As a Brand Strategist, you will work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and positioning across all channels and touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Development & Positioning
    Define, develop, and refine the company’s brand voice, identity, and value proposition
    Conduct market and audience research to inform brand direction and competitive positioning

  • Strategic Planning
    Create and implement brand strategies aligned with business goals and market trends
    Identify opportunities for brand growth, expansion, and differentiation

  • Collaboration & Communication
    Work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, product, and sales teams to ensure brand consistency
    Communicate brand guidelines and ensure adherence across all departments

  • Campaign & Content Support
    Assist in the creation of marketing campaigns, content strategies, and storytelling initiatives
    Ensure brand consistency across digital, social media, print, events, and internal communications

  • Market & Consumer Insights
    Analyze customer behavior, competitor activity, and industry trends to guide brand initiatives
    Use insights to shape campaigns, visuals, and messaging that resonate with target audiences

  • Performance Monitoring
    Track brand performance metrics such as awareness, perception, and engagement
    Report on campaign effectiveness and recommend adjustments as needed


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Branding, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in branding, marketing strategy, or communications
  • Strong portfolio of successful brand campaigns or projects

Preferred Skills:

  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of branding principles, consumer psychology, and market segmentation
  • Proficiency in branding and marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, brand asset management platforms)
  • Analytical mindset with experience using research tools and interpreting data
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative, innovative, and strategic thinker with attention to detail

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Branding, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A Master’s degree (MBA or similar) or certifications in Brand Management or Digital Marketing is a plus

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing, advertising, or a similar role
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful brand strategies or campaigns
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment (e.g., with designers, content creators, product teams, etc.)

Core Skills:

  • Strong understanding of branding principles, market positioning, and consumer behavior
  • Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills
  • Knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, and email
  • Analytical ability to interpret market research, customer insights, and campaign performance data

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in branding and marketing tools such as:
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
    • Canva, Figma, or other design platforms (basic proficiency)
    • Google Analytics, SEMrush, or other brand and market analysis tools
    • Project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across departments
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an agency setting or across multiple brands is an advantage
  • Understanding of UX/UI and how it relates to brand experience
  • Familiarity with SEO, content strategy, and digital branding trends
  • Ability to conduct and apply qualitative and quantitative market research
