Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our brand’s presence across social media platforms. You will be responsible for developing engaging content, building online communities, managing brand reputation, and using analytics to improve performance. The ideal candidate is both a storyteller and a strategist who knows how to drive engagement, growth, and conversions through social media.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning
    Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business and marketing goals
    Identify target audiences and tailor content and campaigns accordingly

  • Content Creation & Curation
    Collaborate with content creators, designers, and video editors to produce high-quality, on-brand content
    Write compelling captions and schedule posts across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube

  • Community Management
    Monitor and engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and nurture online communities
    Manage social listening and brand sentiment across platforms

  • Performance & Analytics
    Track key metrics (reach, engagement, growth, conversions, etc.) and use insights to optimize content and posting strategies
    Prepare monthly performance reports and share actionable recommendations

  • Campaign Management
    Plan and execute paid and organic social media campaigns to support product launches, events, and brand initiatives
    Collaborate with the digital marketing team to align social media with SEO, PPC, and email efforts

  • Trends & Innovation
    Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, algorithms, and best practices
    Test new content formats and emerging platforms to keep the brand innovative and relevant


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts for brands or businesses
  • Proven track record of growing and engaging social media audiences
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
  • Experience with tools such as Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  • Proficiency in analyzing performance via Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in influencer marketing or UGC campaigns
  • Knowledge of paid social advertising and A/B testing
  • Familiarity with content calendars, brand voice guidelines, and visual storytelling
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, and sales

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field
  • (Preferred) Certifications in Social Media Marketing, Content Strategy, or Digital Advertising (e.g., Meta Blueprint, HubSpot, Hootsuite)

Experience:

  • 3–5+ years of proven experience managing social media platforms for brands or organizations
  • Demonstrated success in growing audiences, increasing engagement, and driving campaign results
  • Experience working with both organic and paid social media strategies

Platform Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of key social platforms:
    • Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, Pinterest
  • Understanding of each platform’s algorithms, trends, audiences, and content formats
  • Experience using Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Center, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.

Technical & Creative Skills:

  • Strong command of content creation tools:
    • Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
  • Familiarity with social media management tools:
    • Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Sprout Social, Planoly, etc.
  • Ability to write engaging captions, compelling CTAs, and adapt tone to match brand voice
  • Skilled in photo/video editing, reel creation, and optimizing content for each platform

Analytical & Strategic Thinking:

  • Proficient in analyzing social media KPIs, tracking metrics, and interpreting platform analytics
  • Experience using Google Analytics, UTM parameters, and basic funnel tracking
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation, content strategy, and campaign performance

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly creative with a strong sense of storytelling and visual design
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple content calendars and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working across marketing, design, and content teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in influencer outreach, UGC campaigns, or brand partnerships
  • Background in managing social for eCommerce, startups, agencies, or nonprofits
  • Familiarity with paid social ads and A/B testing
  • Crisis communication or reputation management experience on social platforms
