About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation & Benefits Specialist to manage and optimize employee compensation and benefits programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our total rewards strategy is competitive, compliant, and aligned with business goals. You will evaluate compensation structures, manage benefits administration, and support initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain employee compensation and benefits programs, including salaries, bonuses, health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitiveness and internal equity
  • Assist in the design and implementation of compensation structures, incentive plans, and salary reviews
  • Support benefits enrollment, employee education sessions, and vendor communications
  • Address employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., labor laws, tax requirements, benefits regulations)
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and leadership teams on compensation planning and budgeting
  • Generate reports and analytics on compensation, benefits usage, and workforce costs
  • Stay informed on industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices in total rewards

Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (required)
  • Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP – Certified Compensation Professional, SHRM-CP, or PHR) is a plus

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in compensation and benefits, HR operations, or a related field
  • Experience with salary benchmarking, pay structure design, and benefits administration preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR software/HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Familiarity with compensation surveys, job evaluation tools, and benefits platforms
  • Understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements related to compensation and benefits

Analytical & Organizational Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret data, create reports, and present findings clearly
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across HR, finance, and leadership teams
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Soft Skills:

  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Adaptability to evolving regulations and organizational needs
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and reliability

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting global compensation and benefits programs
  • Knowledge of wellness initiatives, performance-based incentive structures, or equity plans
  • Background in analytics, finance, or compliance within HR is an advantage
