About the Role:
We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting business decisions through forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help drive financial efficiency and support strategic growth initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, digging into data, and providing insights that influence key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current and past financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
- Support budgeting and long-term financial planning processes.
- Create financial models to evaluate new initiatives, projects, or investments.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), highlight variances, and provide insights.
- Work with departments across the organization to gather and interpret financial information.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data across systems and reports.

Requirements
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree (MBA or M.Com) or certifications like CFA, CPA, or FMVA are a plus.
Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related role.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, modeling).
- Experience with financial and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, ratios, and corporate finance principles.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present financial data and insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Organizational & Time Management:
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Able to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of business strategy or operations planning.
- Experience in a specific industry (e.g., tech, healthcare, manufacturing, banking).
- Familiarity with SQL or financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) is a plus.
