Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Art Director to lead visual storytelling across our brand. The Art Director will oversee the design and execution of creative concepts for campaigns, marketing assets, branding, digital content, and more. You’ll work closely with designers, copywriters, marketing teams, and clients to deliver visually compelling, on-brand work that engages and inspires.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creative direction and execution of visual content across all platforms (digital, print, video, social, etc.)
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers, illustrators, and other creatives
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to align visuals with strategy and goals
  • Develop concepts, mood boards, style guides, and branding assets
  • Review and approve designs, layouts, and production files for quality and consistency
  • Stay current with industry trends, design tools, and visual storytelling techniques
  • Ensure all creative output meets brand guidelines, deadlines, and project objectives
  • Manage creative resources, timelines, and budgets when applicable
  • Present ideas and design work to internal stakeholders or clients

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a creative or design role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or art direction position
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work and successful campaigns
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, After Effects, etc.) and other design tools
  • Experience in digital design, UI/UX, branding, and print production
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Motion graphics, video editing, or animation experience
  • Familiarity with web design platforms (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Webflow)
  • Experience in agency, in-house brand, or fast-paced creative environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and design trends

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Advertising, or a related field
  • A Master’s degree or additional certifications in art direction, branding, or creative leadership (a plus)

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in a design or creative role
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory position within a creative team
  • Proven experience developing and executing creative campaigns across digital, print, and multimedia channels
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, design range, and leadership in past projects

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, After Effects)
  • Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or other UI/UX design tools (preferred)
  • Understanding of motion graphics, video production, or animation (a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, layout design, and branding
  • Experience working with web, mobile, and social media platforms
  • Familiarity with production processes for both digital and print media
